Majsoul Big Helper Windows Guide

Step 1: Download through browser security prompts

When downloading the EXE, the browser may warn that the file is uncommon or risky because it is self-developed and not yet cataloged. Choose ‘Keep’ or ‘Keep anyway’, then select ‘Keep and run’ in the downloads list to finish.

• Chrome/Edge: open the download menu (three dots) and choose ‘Keep’ or ‘Keep on this device’.
• If Windows SmartScreen appears, click ‘More info’ → ‘Run anyway’.
• If the download is removed, open the browser’s download manager and restore the file.

Step 2: Save to a dedicated folder

After the download, use the browser prompt to choose ‘Show in folder’ or ‘Open containing folder’ so you can locate the EXE. Copy or move it into your own dedicated folder (for example, C:\MajsoulHelper or a MajsoulHelper folder on the desktop), keep the path in plain English, and avoid leaving it in Downloads or other temporary directories.

• Create an all-English folder on a drive or the desktop first so updates and scripts can access it easily.
• Move the EXE out of Downloads or other temporary folders to avoid browser cleanups or accidental deletion.
• The first launch generates scripts alongside the EXE; keep those files together whenever you move the program.

Step 3: Add antivirus exclusions

To prevent antivirus deletion, add the extracted folder to the trusted/exclusion list. Windows Defender, 360, and other suites let you add paths manually so files aren’t removed.

• Windows Defender: Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions.
• Third-party security suites: open settings, locate ‘trusted zone’ or ‘whitelist’, and add the extracted folder.
• If files were quarantined, restore them first and then add the exclusion.

Step 4: Run Big Helper first, then start the game

After double-clicking the downloaded exe, the program creates several bat scripts in the same folder. Run “运行大助手.bat” first to auto-update and start, then open the Majsoul client and log in. If you see “Administrator privileges required,” right-click and choose “Run as administrator.”

• The app downloads the latest models automatically, so keep your network stable.
• Run Big Helper first and wait for updates to finish, then start the Majsoul client and log in to avoid the “game not detected” warning.
• After logging in, choose 3-player or 4-player models in settings to match your playstyle.
• If the interface stalls, restart the program or request remote support.

Step 5: Activate code to add time

If you bought an activation code on Taobao or via PayPal, launch Majsoul and log in first, then run “Buy BigHelper.bat” in the extracted folder, choose “卡密激活”, and enter the code you received to finish activation.

• Make sure the Majsoul client is logged in before activating to avoid the “game not detected” warning.
• After entering the code you should see “Activation successful”; keep a screenshot for after-sales support.
• Do not paste the code into the VIP serial field in “Settings.bat”; that option is only for offline licensing partners.

Note: Download the game client

If you still need the Majsoul client, choose the version below. CN players can install via Steam or the official Windows client, while the international and JP servers provide Windows installers.

After installation, launch the Majsoul client first to ensure matches run normally, then start Big Helper to connect.
